Power Mac G4 - 733 Mhz - $450.00

Code name "Quicksilver"

When the original G4's were released (much slower than this one), the US Government outlawed their sale to certain foreign countries because they were so fast and efficient that they were capable of sophisticated weapons control. You may remember Apple's tv ad that capitalized on that situation.

This machine looks and runs like new and has been in a smoke free air conditioned studio since it was purchased new in 2002. It has 1.12 GB ram and can hold a total of 1.5 GB. It has it's original Apple keyboard and mouse (no monitor). You can find the matching 17" Apple Studio Display online for around $400.00 (originally $(975.00). It's a dual boot machine which means it can start up in both OS 9 & OSX. It currently has OS 9.2.2 and OS 10.2.8 (Jaguar) installed. Hard drive is 40GB and it has a Superdrive which reads and burns both CD-R's and DVD's, pretty much all formats. 2 USB ports, 2 Firewire ports, 56k modem and ethernet. If you want to learn more about this model there's tons of info on the web, here is just one interesting link I found. Mel's Macintosh Universe.
